High Holidays

WISHING YOU A HAPPY, SWEET NEW YEAR FULL OF BLESSINGS, ABUNDANCE, HEALTH, AND JOY!

Dear Friend,

The arrival of a new year resembles the arrival of a new day. Just as we stretch after a sound night of sleep as we prepare for what the new day will bring; so too for the new year. The Teshuva wind of Elul, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur naturally inspires every Jewish heart to stretch and reach higher than possible in the past year.

Our community overcame many challenges, reached new heights and far beyond previous limits during the year 5782. Some highlights include:

  • The Kraman family joining our team and creating fun and beautiful events for men, women and children like the Lag B'Omer BBQ in Kenneth Hahn Park and an inspiring Gimmel Tammuz Shabbos Farbrengen.
  • The Jewish Family Library houses over 3,000 books.
  • Our Charidy Campaign was a success; we will soon have a Grand Opening of our second floor!
  • The Chabad Pico Learning Center celebrates all its students success in mastering, reading and growing in Chumash and Mishna skills.
  • The Jewish Family Library lent over 25,000 books and welcomed 575 members.
  • The Rosh Chodesh Society grew and successfully finished its 6th year.

Let's continue to grow together towards the goal of our Beloved Rebbe and begin this year with even more! More Ahavas Yisroel! More kindness! More Tzedakah, of body and soul.

Let us stretch out our hands to accept even more blessings for each and every one of us for all the best of life including health, wealth and nachas.

Together, we will help open the door to truly fulfill our raison d'etre, as we prepare for the imminent arrival of Moshiach.

Wishing each of you a Kesiva Vachasima Tova, Lishana Tova Umesukah!

Rabbi Moshe and Chanie Levin
